To Keep Your Ties Decent

Tie has been a dress code for many types of social functions. Usually, the dress code represents people's occupation, disposition, image, cultural awareness, financial capability. For a man, it is common to have more than three decent ties because ties should fit to different styles of suit. Here, we should keep to the following tips in order to maintain our ties new:

1 To keep them unwrinkled we should hang down them when we do not use them. The materials for ties are silk, polyester, intertexture, wool, cotton and so on. Silk-made ties are always the best choice because it feels more smooth and soft, looks more bright and nice. Anyway, all kinds of ties should be hung down in order to keep them refreshingly and permanently.

2 To keep them neat and dry we should iron them before we put them into the cabinet for a long time.Stream iron is better for sterilization and mothproof. The temperature of the iron should be appropriate (about 70°C); the stress and speed of ironing process should be well balanced.

3 To avoid any wrinkle we should not fold them but can coil to a ball.

4 To avoid color fading we should not dry them under strong sunshine. In order to avoid floating yellow and fading, we should keep them dry and camphor ball is forbidden otherwise fabrics will become fragile.

5 We should not use bleach and washing machine but wash by hand with clear water.Generally speaking, dry cleaning is best and instant-washing is necessary when a tie dirty. Besides, oil stain, tea blot, coffee mark require different washing methods.

Smart dress is represented by some details and an appropriate tie should be the priority-concerned detail. However, we do not have to bother to choose varied new ties but to maintain them nice.
